Addy's Quilt

When Momma and Addy left the plantation and ended up in Philadelphia....everything was so different. Everything was bigger, faster, and more. There was the ocean...that fascinated Addy...and when winter came...they were so much further north...and it was so much colder. BRRRR.....Mrs. Ford let Momma keep scraps from the Dress Shop, and she may have made Addy a warm quilt like this one for her bed. The pattern is Window By the Sea.

    Nice quilt for an old fashioned girl. Love it! Saw you on Etsy. I sew AG clothes too, but sell them locally (Boston area). Hope all is well with you. Will follow your blog. Best wishes
