Lissy's Lessons Outfit

Back in 1774, girls didn't go to school.  They learned their letters and numbers at home, and then how to run a household.  If they were lucky, they attended Lesson's to learn music, arts, home arts, dancing and how to serve Tea, as being a gracious hostess was very important.  Lissy is sent to Miss Manderly to learn her Lessons.  This is where she meets Elizabeth.  This is Lissy's Lesson outfit.  it is a cranberry petticoat, with an over jacket, that laces up the front.  And don't forget her Mop Cap....girls always wore hats of some kind.
